Ensure Excellent Grounding Performance

The grounding contacts are positioned next to the differential pair contacts to reduce crosstalk and ensure excellent grounding performance. With power contacts capable of supplying up to 3A per pin, the full capacity of the signal contacts is preserved, further reducing the total number of required pins and saving space. A total of up to 12A is available. The three-stage, sequential contacts are set back at different points in the housing, ensuring that the ground contacts connect first, followed by the signal contacts, and finally the detection contacts.

Secure and User-Friendly Mating Process

Six through-hole contacts enhance the connector’s retention strength on the PCB, providing high resistance to pull-out forces. Additionally, the header features large guides for a secure and user-friendly mating process. Keyed guides with integrated chamfers prevent misalignment during mating. Visible solder joints, ample space for rework, and the possibility of pin-in-hole reflow reduce the manual soldering time required.

Suitable applications include medical devices, base transceiver stations, LCD TVs, LCD displays, and industrial controllers.
