V2G Simulator Integrates High- And Low-Level Communication
The SEVENSTAX V2G Simulator supports the development of a Supply Equipment Communication Controller (SECC) or Electric Vehicle Communication Controller (EVCC) by offering the remote end of the link. The simulator integrates high-level communication in accordance with IEC/ISO 15118 and DIN 70121, as well as low-level communication based on IEC 61851.

A HomePlug Green PHY (HPGP) Powerline Communication chipset is already integrated into the V2G Simulator to support the link and physical layers of ISO 15118. The simulation behavior can be managed via a web interface. Additionally, the open HTTP/JSON interface enables integration into automated test environments or use in end-of-line testing scenarios. To facilitate communication analysis and debugging, the V2G Simulator allows HPGP traffic to be bridged to the ethernet interface, so that it can be analysed with the SEVENSTAX GreenShark.
