Manufacture of Special Solutions
As a renowned manufacturer of LC displays, YEEBO also operates its own production facilitiy for touch sensors as well as front or cover glass. Individuality is at the core of every design – customizations and special solutions can be realized with minimal effort. The glass panels can be up to 1000mm long and nearly as wide. Beyond the active display area, the glass can even be curved, allowing multiple displays to be seamlessly integrated on a single surface. Assembly can be done using tape bonding or optical bonding – the latter providing significant advantages in brightness and clarity, especially in outdoor environments.
For a seamless and elegant appearance, the “Dead Front” technology is recommended: when switched off, the surface remains deep black – only when activated do the images become visible. With narrow bezels, the displays create a nearly uninterrupted, continuous image. A capacitive touch panel is, of course, integrated.
Finishing Options
Additionally, the glass surface can be refined with various treatments:
- Anti-Glare (AG): A matte surface that reduces reflections to around 1%.
- Anti-Reflective (AR): A special coating that minimizes reflections to less than 1.5%.
- Anti-Fingerprint (AF): Prevents fingerprint marks – can be combined with AG or AR for enhanced performance.
15,6-inch-Dual-Touch-Display
A striking example of this technology is YEEBO’s 15.6" Dual-Touch Display. It combines two displays, each with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, into a total resolution of 3840×1080 pixels. The IPS technology ensures a wide 178° viewing angle, while the eDP (embedded DisplayPort) interface guarantees reliable image transmission.
